What happens if I get 5 passes but fail English Language in ZIMSEC O-Level? ▼
English Language is a compulsory national requirement across Zimbabwe. Even if you pass 5 or more other subjects with Grade A, without English Language Grade C or better, you cannot be awarded a complete full certificate, nor can you enroll in Form 5, polytechnics, nursing schools, or university programs. You will need to register for the June or November ZIMSEC English Language resit.
Can I do A-Level Sciences if I got a Grade C in Mathematics? ▼
While the national minimum pass is Grade C, most competitive schools (especially mission and government boarding schools) require at least a Grade B or Grade A in Mathematics and Science to enter the pure Sciences stream (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).
