The QR code contains the generated link. Visitors can scan it with a phone camera and open the chat link without typing a number. Print it with enough white space around the edges and at a size that remains easy to scan. Test the printed version under the real lighting and distance where it will be used. Keep the caption clear, such as “Scan to chat on WhatsApp,” and include another contact method when the audience may not have WhatsApp or mobile data.

A QR code is not a security guarantee. Anyone who can see or scan it can access the link. Treat a public WhatsApp link like a public phone number.
